This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of Your information when You use Commit and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. These definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

• Application: Refers to Commit, the software program provided by the Company.
• Company: Refers to Mehmet Ates, also referred to as "We", "Us", or "Our" in this Privacy Policy.
• Country: Refers to Turkey.
• Device: Any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone, or a digital tablet.
• Health Data: Personal data related to fitness, activity, body measurements, recovery, or wellness that You choose to make available to the Application through Apple Health.
• Personal Data: Any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
• Service: Refers to the Application.
• Service Provider: Any natural or legal person who processes data on behalf of the Company, including subscription, hosting, platform, or support providers.
• Usage Data: Data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself.
• You: The individual accessing or using the Service, or another legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

Types of Data Collected

Health Data

If You grant permission through Apple Health, Commit may read health and fitness data that can include:

• Step count and exercise minutes
• Weight and body measurements such as height, body fat percentage, and waist circumference
• Sleep analysis
• Active calories, basal calories, dietary calories, protein, and sodium
• Workout information
• Heart rate variability, resting heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation, and wrist temperature
• Limited profile characteristics from HealthKit, such as date of birth and biological sex, when needed for body-related calculations

We use this data to generate daily summaries, trends, readiness insights, body-related estimates, progress history, and similar in-app features. Commit's core experience relies on data that You choose to share from Apple Health.

Profile, Goal, and Preference Data

Commit may store information You provide or configure in the app, including:

• Name or initials
• Age, height, gender, and target weight
• Daily step, calorie, and sleep goals
• Reminder settings and selected reminder times
• Onboarding completion state and app preferences

This information is generally stored locally on Your device to personalize the app experience.

Subscription and Purchase Data

If You interact with Commit Pro or other paid features, Apple and our subscription service provider RevenueCat may process purchase-related information such as available products, subscription status, entitlement status, transaction identifiers, and other information needed to validate and manage subscriptions.

Photo Library and Export Data

Commit may save summary cards or other shareable images to Your photo library when You explicitly choose to export them. Commit requests add-only photo access for this purpose and does not require permission to browse Your full photo library for this feature.

Notification Data

If You enable reminders, Commit stores Your reminder preferences and schedules local notifications on Your device.

Usage and Diagnostic Data

We may receive limited technical or diagnostic information from Apple, RevenueCat, or the operating system when You use subscription features, restore purchases, or otherwise interact with platform services. This may include device-level, app-version, or transaction-related metadata needed to operate the Service.

Use of Your Personal Data

The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain the Service: Including reading HealthKit data, rendering daily summaries, and operating app features.
• To personalize Your experience: Including goals, reminder timing, and progress-based views.
• To provide premium functionality: Including verifying subscription status and unlocking paid features.
• To save or export content requested by You: Such as share cards saved to the photo library.
• To communicate with You: Including support responses if You contact Us.
• To comply with legal obligations: Including fraud prevention, security, and lawful requests.

How We Share Information

We do not sell Your personal data. We do not use the data collected by Commit for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

We may share or make information available in the following limited situations:

• Apple Health and Apple platform services: The app reads Health data from Apple Health based on the permissions You grant and uses Apple APIs to schedule notifications or save exports to Photos.
• RevenueCat and Apple for subscriptions: Purchase-related data may be processed to manage offerings, purchases, renewals, and restores.
• Legal reasons: If required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process.
• Business transfer: If the app or its assets are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale.

Retention of Your Personal Data

Much of Commit's data handling happens on-device. App preferences, reminder settings, and similar configuration data may remain on Your device until You change or delete them, or remove the app.

Commit does not operate a custom backend to store Your HealthKit data for the core app experience. Health data remains subject to Apple's Health and device storage systems, along with Your device permissions and settings.

Exported images remain in Your photo library until You delete them. Subscription and transaction records may be retained by Apple and RevenueCat in accordance with their own legal and operational requirements.

Transfer of Your Personal Data

Some service providers or platform operators may process information in countries other than Your own. By using the Service, You understand that certain limited data related to subscriptions, platform operations, or support may be processed outside Your jurisdiction, subject to applicable safeguards and provider policies.

Delete and Control Your Personal Data

You can control or delete Your data in several ways:

• Revoke Health access at any time in the Apple Health app or iOS Settings.
• Disable notifications in iOS Settings.
• Delete exported images from the Photos app.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions through Your Apple ID account settings.
• Delete the app from Your device to remove locally stored app preferences and settings.

If You contact Us with a privacy request, We will do our best to help, but some purchase or platform records may continue to be controlled by Apple or RevenueCat under their own policies.

Security of Your Personal Data

We take reasonable steps to protect information processed by the app. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Commit is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13. If You believe that a child has provided Personal Data through the Service, please contact Us so that We can take appropriate action.

Links to Other Websites

Our Service may contain links to other websites or services that are not operated by Us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page together with the updated "Last updated" date.
